For couples who want a beautiful, intimate wedding without the months of planning. Our micro wedding packages are available for a range of budgets.

Choose the details that matter most to you, and we’ll work with you to bring your vision to life, creating a function that reflects your style and priorities.

  • Bridal party access to the estate for getting ready, rehearsals, first looks, and wedding photos. Early morning/evening options available.

Elopement Package

If you’re dreaming of something private and intimate in a truly magical spot, our elopement package is for you. Surrounded by rolling hills and coastal views, you’ll exchange your vows in a setting that is entirely your own.

  • Private use of The View Matakana Estate from one hour to overnight, depending on your preference.  

  • Coordinated ceremony anywhere on the estate

  • Available all year round, with a wet-weather option to host your ceremony inside The Barn or The Glasshouse.

  • Ceremony with our local celebrant 

  • 2 x Witnesses provided by us if required

Bespoke Weddings

For couples who want a wedding that is entirely their own. We’ll work alongside you and your chosen vendors to bring your dream day to life.

    • Exclusive use of The Barn and surrounding facilities for you and your guests (up to 8 hours) 

    • Private access to the estate properties for the wedding party to prepare: dress, make-up and hair, rehearsals, first looks and onsite photography  

    • Overnight accommodation for the wedding party and guests at The View Suites and Glasshouse property

    • Indoor and outdoor seating options

    • Full pack-down and cleanup

    • Sound system and AV available

    • Space in The Barn to style your weddings for sit down meals for up to 50 guests, or casual gatherings for 50+ guests

    • Choose your own caterers and we’ll work alongside them to bring it all together on the day, or ask us for our recommendations

    • We can provide tableware, glassware, tea and coffee facilities, fridge/freezer, serving tables and a bar setup
